This scan tool is incredibly easy to use, Iâve skipped out on having to take two of my vehicles to the dealer by being able to read sensors and way more. Even sensors I didnât even know existed on them. Itâs compatible with a ton of different vehicles and with the added bonus of having the obd1 connectors I can use it on older cars if I ever get one and get them fixed. The web browser to look up codes and repair info without having to pull out my phone is a huge plus especially with the bigger screen for my old eyes. Great value for the money.

I bought the MP900-BT KlT after watching several videos recommending this tool and this specific seller. Before placing the order, I actually called Autel to check if this online store was authorized. They confirmed it was, so I felt comfortable buying it through Amazon.
So far, I’ve been using the scanner for ABS, airbag, engine diagnostics, and other systems the car communicates with. It also supports AutoVIN, MaxiFix, Shop Manager, ECU coding. It’s fast and works well. was honestly surprised by how quick it is compared to other tools I’ve used.
When I first set it up, I ran into a minor issue during registration. I reached out to the seller, and they responded within minutes. They were helpful and professional, and the problem was solved quickly, it made me feel like I was being taken seriously.
So far, I’ve only used it on a few vehicles, but everything has gone smoothly. No bugs, no slowdowns. Setup and operation were straightforward, Once i’ve had the chance to use it on more cars, I’ll come back and update this review.

Iâve been working on cars for over 10 years,and Iâve tried a lot of scanners. The MP900-BT Kits is one of the best Iâve used. Yeah, itâs a bit pricey,buts honestly,itâs worth every penny. First off,it feels really solid in your hand,and the screen is super clearly even in bright sunlight. Itâs fast too, no lag or crashes,as long as you keep the firmware updated (V150 is a must). I use it all the time doesnât know much about cars, managed to reseat an oil reminder without any trouble.
One of may favorite things is the VW coding and hidden functions. Iâve customized turn signals,changed them from 3 to 5 flashes, made mirrors fold automatically on lower trim models, and turned off the annoying start and stop feature. Customers love these little tweaks. It also comes with a bunch of adapters for older cars that donât use the standard OBD II port. We have some adapters in the shop, but theyâre not as complete or reliable as the ones that come with this kit. If youâre serious about car repair and want a tool that does it all, this is the one to get. Highly recommend it!

Have used it professionally for 11 months problem free. Sadly the battery doesnât hold a charge anymore. It stays at 44% and dies soon after being unplugged. After contacting Autel 2 weeks ago regarding warranty I still have a brick for a diagnostic tool. I will never buy another Autel tool if this is how they deal with warranty!

Overpriced. Lacks feature which my older Xtool D8 has and does not give all options on some vehicles in comparison to my Xtool D8 scanner. Annual upgrades are also very expensive compared to my Xtool scanner. I prefer my cheaper, bigger more functional Xtool D8 over this overrated and overpriced scanner.
Update: I was contacted by Autel support team and they extended their help getting around the issue askign me to submit logs and after last software update on my scanner, so far its working as expected.

Bought an MP900 from another shop before and it was a total mistake. The unit was used and wouldnât even activate. My friend told me to try this seller since they sell official Autel products. Glad I did. It came brand new, activated smoothly, and synced with Autel right away. Definitely legit. Tested the new MP900BT KIT scanner on my 2018 Highlander and 2021 F150. Full scans were quick and stable. Had one update issue and the support team fixed it remotely in less than 5 minutes. Super fast and professional service. I also own an MS 906 Max, and this one basically does the same jobs including diagnostics, service, TPMS, injector, and throttle reset. The performance is great and the price makes it an incredible value for any repair shop.

I have been a tech for over 25 years. I needed a scan tool for home use. I’ve used Snap on OTC E-tech scan tools and many more at work. I’ve had this scan tool for about 6 months now. For the money it has been the best all around scan tool I’ve used. It is much more then an emissions only scanner. It accesses most modern control modules and has plenty of bilateral controls for testing. The OBD 1 hasn’t been able to connect very well, but I haven’t used it much. Would still recommend it as a Above average scan tool.

Good value for the money; especially compared to some Snap-on Scan Tools I’ve used over the years. Customer service has also been very responsive & helpful.
One minor criticism though; with most devices now using USB for a charging method this scanner still requires the use of a power brick and cord which can be annoying at times having to unpack everything to simply charge it. Having the option of charging via USB as well would be convenient.
Overall, it’s a nice piece of kit.
