The filter is a good product. Mistake was ordering from amazon. Delivered in padded envelope. Must have come out of the box at some point and looks like it was dropped or slammed against the ground. Slightly dented but does not have any affect on the seal luckily.

I don’t know; made in Mexico (which does not matter to me but stating where it was produced) the largest concern of mine is the threads had filings on them yet,.. I think I will switch back to the Fram high mileage again but thought I would try K&N just because of reputation and the spin on and off nut feature. Seems to do the work though but do not like to see the thread filings..
