What this service is
This is a Repair & Return service. You send your Jeep ECM/ECU/PCM to SIA Electronics and we will diagnose, repair, test, and return the unit to you.
How to prepare and what to include
When sending your part, please include:
- Your full name, phone number, and return address
- A short description of the problem (examples: misfires/coils/injectors issues, IAC problems, no start, intermittent faults)
Packaging instructions:
- Protect the module from damage during transit. Use bubble wrap and packing peanuts or similar protective materials to prevent movement and impact.

Repair process & testing
- Modules are disassembled, visually inspected, repaired, cleaned, sealed, and returned with a professional appearance.
- Each unit is connected to our vehicle simulator to perform functional tests and ensure proper operation before return.
- When possible, modules are updated to the latest manufacturer software.
- If a module is not repairable, we will contact you to discuss options.
SIA Electronics also repairs/remanufactures ECUs and PCMs for other makes and models – domestic and import.
Warranty
- We offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on our repair services.
- Warranty covers replacement of the repaired part only.
- Do NOT alter or install the part before contacting us if you believe there is a problem. Altered, abused, or improperly installed items void the warranty and are not returnable.
- Warranty is non-transferable.
- Warranty does NOT cover shipping, labor, towing, rentals, storage, legal fees, lost wages, or other incidental costs.
Test fee & non-repairable fee
- Not all electronic modules are repairable. If your part is received and found to be in good working condition, a $105 test fee will be charged (return shipping is included). Any remaining balance from your original charge will be refunded.
- If the part is found to be not repairable, there will be a $75 charge.
- We will notify you before proceeding if further options or charges apply.
International buyers
Import duties, taxes, and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office for details before sending or purchasing.
Additional notes
- Jeep ECM/ECU/PCMs have many different part numbers – we can repair all gasoline Jeep ECMs.
- Repairing your vehicle’s original computer is often more cost-effective than buying a remanufactured unit and paying for programming.
