The Termitor H11 9005 LED headlight bulb set promised a significant light output upgrade, and I can confirm they have well outperformed expectations. For anyone looking to dramatically improve their visibility and safety during nighttime driving, these bulbs are a top-tier choice.
Extreme Brightness and Performance
The most noticeable feature of these Termitor bulbs is their sheer output. They are extremely bright, delivering a crisp, white light that cuts through the darkness unlike any halogen or even older LED setup I’ve used. The difference in unlit areas—rural roads, wooded stretches, or poorly illuminated neighborhoods—is stunning. Driving in these conditions now feels almost equivalent to daylight. This level of illumination provides far greater reaction time for seeing wildlife, pedestrians, or debris on the road.
A Necessary Adjustment: Aiming is Crucial
Because of this intense brightness, there is a key installation step that users should be aware of: you might have to adjust your headlight angles after installation. The focused light pattern of the LEDs is so powerful that without proper aim, you could potentially blind oncoming drivers or fail to maximize your own forward visibility.
I highly recommend checking your beam pattern against a garage wall after installing and making minor adjustments to ensure the low-beam cutoff is correct. This small effort ensures you get the full benefit of the brightness without causing issues for others.
Final Verdict
If you prioritize maximum visibility and frequently drive in areas lacking street lighting, the Termitor H11 9005 LEDs are an essential investment. While they require a moment of attention to aiming after installation, the performance payoff—making night driving feel significantly safer and clearer—is more than worth it. A powerful, high-quality upgrade that delivers on its promise of daylight-like illumination.

These LED headlights are an absolute game-changer. The brightness is incredible, providing a clean, crisp white light that dramatically improves nighttime visibility. Road signs, lane markings, and obstacles are much clearer, which makes driving feel safer and more comfortable—especially on dark roads.
Installation was quick and straightforward, with a true plug-and-play design. No flickering, no error codes, and they turned on instantly every time. The beam pattern is well-focused, so there’s no blinding oncoming traffic while still lighting up the road far better than stock halogen bulbs.
Another big plus is the build quality. They feel solid and well-made, and the cooling system keeps them running efficiently even during long drives. After using them for a while, they still perform like new with no dimming or overheating.
Overall, these LED headlights are an excellent value and one of the best upgrades you can make to your vehicle. If you’re looking for brighter light, better visibility, and a modern look, I highly recommend them.

It seems like everyone has bright white lights on their cars now. In comparison, the halogen lights on my 2008 Toyota Highlander looked quite dim. In fact, when driving on the road, my halogen headlights were quite inadequate.
I decided to swap out the halogen lights with these headlights. They were a perfect drop-in replacement and it worked right away. Everything was much brighter immediately, and I can see again at night!
Some reviewers mentioned that they had some flickering, but I did not experience any flickering. That said, if you do experience flickering, there is a small card included in the box that says to contact Termitor. They will send you a link to a “decoder” that you can purchase separately on Amazon (basically another connector that sits between your LED light and your car’s headlight connector) to eliminate the flickering. Then send them the receipt afterwards and they will refund you the cost of the decoder.
Another common issue I read in online forums when going to LED lights is that the fog lights may not work. This has to do with the fact that the LED bulbs draw a lot less current than the halogen lights, and somehow that tricks the car’s computer in thinking that the low beam headlight is not working (or off). The fog lights only come on when the headlights (specifically the low beam lights) are on. So if the computer thinks the headlights are off, the fog lights will not come on. Fortunately I didn’t have that problem with my car. The decoder will supposedly address that problem as well – the decoder is nothing more than a resistor that draws a higher current draw so that the car’s computer will recognize that the headlight is on and will allow the fog lights to come on.
All in all, I’m really happy with these LED headlights. I no longer dread driving at night as I can see much more clearly now!
