This ECM repair service on our 2003 Toyota Rav4 literally saved me and my Dad thousands of dollars. The transmission was slipping badly, shifting harshly, I thought for sure the transmission was broken and I had been making plans to have the transmission swapped for a used one. It was going to cost us like $3K at least. However, then I did some more research and discovered these symptoms were often caused by this bug in the stock Toyota ECM, and found this repair service. 2004 RAV 4 with the majority of the symptom discussed on the forums. Slow to accelerate followed by erratic and/or harsh shifting. Immediately drove home and jumped on the forums.
